Turkish rose grower sets its sights on the world market

At the Bozanonu Rose Production Complex, in the Turkish city of Isparta, cut rose production is going strong. Isparta is located in the northern part of the Mediterranean region in Turkey and is generally well-known for its industrial rose cultivation, which is used mainly in rose water and rose oil production. Additionally, the city is well-known for its carnation production during the summer months.

However, the cut rose production is becoming more widespread in the city. The general manager of a rose cultivation facility in Bozanonu, Isparta, Onur Carkci, gave an update on their cut rose production success and their plans. According to Onur Carkci, Isparta's agricultural value is greatly influenced by its rose production facilities. He said that their main objective for the future is to make Isparta the world leader in cut rose production. He added, "At our facility, we grow 30 different types of roses, mostly red and white. There is a great demand for the roses we produce because we have the most sophisticated and up-to-date rose-producing facilities in Turkey. One of our future objectives is to export roses and meet this demand on the global market."
